Where do I sign?
I think supporters are just lethargic to go back and forth with opposition supporters.
Definitely. He just went from $15 to $8 for the RS
I havenât read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been mentioned, but looking at the Telstra Tracker a couple of things really stood out.
-
A. Clarkeâs running efforts offensively and defensively (for a first gamer)
-
Our only player in the top 5 for sprint efforts Durham. Our lack of sprinting/sprinters is a real team weakness.
Watching Bris v Hawks you could really see the difference in their speed when the whole team took off to spread in attack and cover in defence.
Are we slow, lazy or not switched on??
2025 Player who should have improved a lot, but hasnât: Archie Perkins
Some of Archies disposals have been terrible - shanked kicks, handballs to his teammates feet, lots of turnovers etc. That said, he always seems to pop up from nowhere and kick a wonderful snap shot goal. I really hope the modern game is not too quick for him?
Sounds like something ASADA would say, âlack of positive testing implies guilt under the âempty threadsâ theory of applied injusticeâ
I think it was because there wasnât much to cheer about. It was just a â â â â quality game.
In the last qtr when there was some good footy it was pretty rowdy.
Did you see the two shanked kicks from Duz when he was running at full speed?
Not to say you are wrong, itâs just the issue is across the whole playing group.
Zerrett ran out of the centre square, with no pressure, and failed to pinpoint a forward. Itâs a theme that has been consistent throughout this season.
Watching Ess vs Coll live a huge difference was Collingwoods speed of spread when they got possession in defence and they moved the ball quickly and efficiently to F50.
And in comparison we are using a full team press across the ground and not leaving any defenders back from the press.
Typically better teams exploit this by trying to get over the back of our press with a long kick as its hard for them to handball or kick through our press.
And then it comes down to whether ie McKay can get back fast enoght to kill a long kick overvthe back of the press.
This worked against Richmond amd prob works at Marvel but wonât work againt better teams at the G duecto ground size.
I was talking about the start of the game. Essendon supporters looked lethargic arriving to the ground. The energy was low before the ball was even bounced. and they were certainly not interested in having any banter with the opposition.
remember that year we had injuries forced woosha to play kids and then he dropped them and rushed all injured guys back back for finals and we got smashed.
Port game probably had the best atmosphere of any game this season so far.
I guess the damp G put a damper on it. But no doubt the game was everything except exciting and inspiring. The mundane workaday existence we live makes us crave some excitement when our team plays.
First half against Sydney was very loud
On the footy show, Lloyd mentioned that Dreamtime looked like two bottom 6 teams battling it out.
Heâs not wrong. There is very little flow to our game at the moment.
That being said, we are seeing some standout youngsters at the moment that we can build on.

Geelong

Brisbane

Bulldogs

Sydney (away)
Geelong (away)

This makes no sense.
Discussions.
When you actually look at it weâve beaten 6 of the bottom eight teams⌠the other two we have not played. So there you go. We can only beat the Sh#t teams
Angus gets rising star eh?
So will that make it 3 noms?
Or Kako hasnât had a nomination?
Would be 3 noms this year - Roberts, Caddy and then Clarke.
Kako hasnât got a nom yet.
Yet.
