Motivating lazy spuds is impossible in any workplace. At least in my business, I could sack them, but Zac doesn’t have that authority.
Considering how the Team has been selected all year, and the lack of any support plan for when Zac is tagged, it amazes me how he continues to play at such a high level.
Our year is done, the forward line are already on holiday, the back line are ready for retirement, and the apart from Zac, Durham, Caldwell and Duursma the midfield are soft and not talented.
I do not remember ever being so despondent about the Bomber players since 1962 ! Worst coached Team ever.
I would not be surprised if it came to a Sol Campbell type situation and he ■■■■■ off to a better club and gets the trophy(s) he deserves. Lesser players have left for the same reason.
I would love to know what Zach is thinking and whether he is ropable with Scott’s selection philosophies.
Zach strikes me as being quite intelligent with enormous understanding of the game and a desire to win. He was probably dropped from the leadership team because he graduated from the Goddard School of HTFU.
It’s hard to imagine him sitting quietly and idly by, if he violently disagrees with Scott’s philosophies.
Given his age and shelf life, it would not surprise me if a blow up between him and Scott is on the horizon if Scott keeps about his current ways.
I can’t see Zach leaving, because Zach doesn’t want to lose and success at any other club would leave him unfulfilled.
I truely believe when he is done, everyone will remember Zach.
I believe he will eventually lead us out of the wilderness and when he does, no one will have deserved that success more.
