Will be a shame if he misses some weeks and hope he has escaped anything too serious. Fortunately we have some coverage in there in the short term with Setterfield, Caldwell and even Durham amongst our bustling midfielder types vying for the spot which Hobbs is playing. Lots of teams coping significant injuries it seems this preseason.

Minor AC joint injury for Ben Hobbs at Essendon match simulation today.
Bombers expect he’ll be on modified duties for a week or two, but are relieved it’s nothing serious.
