Looking at DT points, we had 7 of the top 10 players, and, discounting Bryan, Melbourne had the bottom 7 players.
In that last quarter, Melbourne’s players had no appetite for the ball.
EDIT: wrong thread.
Hobbs. Excellent game

See what happens when you play him in his best position
He’s been great in the last two games
Hobbs > Tsatas
Roberts > McGrath
I do prefer Hobbs over Tsatas
To be fair to Tsatas, Hobbs has played more senior games.
I think Tsatas will take Shiels spot whe he retires
Hobbs
Tsatas
Durham
Caldwell
Merret can play mid/forward
His goal kicking is really good. Felt pretty confident when he was lining up for his second.
He looks farking solid too a real footballer
It’d be nice to get tackled face down into that patch of grass.
It was no blue Gatorade eruption.
If he deliberately curled that kick for is first goal, his kicking has improved immeasurably. If it was a shank, I am not totally convinced. He did kick one OOBOTF but I wont sentence him to death for that.
Parish?
If we get Harley Reid.
What about then ?
We offload Parish or Tsatas
how does Petracca fit into this…?
The point I’m making is, will he be happy in the B midfielder group, thus having long stints on the bench/HF ?
Given he’d had a similar shot at goal not long before that and hit the post, I’d say it was clearly intentional.
I don’t know in what world people believe Hobbs is better or going to be better than Tsatas.
Hobbs hasn’t played a midfield game close to the level of Tsatas last game in his career and if he did iam sure people would have him as the second coming of Jobe.
