I was looking forward to seeing him the middle for the whole game. Started there and got the first clearance. Then had to go forward when Caddy went off and had little impact. But was thrown into the middle for the last quarter when the game was on the line and delivered.
He is just so strong and so assured. when he has the ball he moves well and doesn’t panic. He just looks untouchable.
I can’t wait to see what this kid is like when he is 22-23.

Robey has the potential to be the best player we have had on our list since Hird and Lloyd. Dodo was in charge of our list for over a two decades and the best player he ever drafted was Zac Merrett.
And that was partly due to Bomber Thompson telling him to go with his gut and pick Merrett, Dodoro was going to stick to the plan and pick Lobb.

Yep in mind he is the most talented and highest upside player on our list. More than Caddy.
What we actually need to take the next step though is to have Caddy, Robey and probably 2-3 more really step up to become consistent top 50 footballers in the league. That’s when we will be a contender again.

Its so good how he is so hard to tackle and when he kicks from a stoppage it goes 50 metres rather than 15 along the ground. His pace and hands from a stoppage are also very strong

I don’t mind Robey spending time forward. I think it’s all part of his development. If he keeps improving the way he is it will be a real weapon to rest him forward and get a mis-match.
If Merrett doesn’t want us at our worst he doesn’t deserve us at our best.

With a full injury-free pre-season and picking up a yard in pace, Robey will dominate - maybe next season but definitely by the year after!

It feels like the club is giving Robey some mid minutes but also protecting him a bit from being over worked considering the back history. It wouldn’t bother me if they gave him a week off tbh. For me it’s get him through 3-4 more possible games, but the key target is for him having a full pre-season
