Unsurprising. Last season I lost count of how often the commentators called our players by the wrong name. Their care factor for accuracy is in single digits.

Yeah it’s a nice story for Curtis but to me(and I’m no expert here) to meit’s looks like a lot of bloody unnecessary gaslighting of the of the poor folks affected by the hawthorn racism scandal.

I’ve noticed the full circle on how click bait references of this ■■■■■■■ arsehat of a d1ckhead.
Originally- headline would say, “Kane Cornes says/ calls out / hot take etc”
- then people cottoned onto him being a flog & stopped opening those articles
Brief adjustments to “Cornes says…”
- 5min later everyone understood it wasn’t Graham or Chad… just ■■■■■■■ Kane again, so they stopped clocking on those articles
Moved to “Port legend”
- Occasionally fall for it, but not often because you’d gel so dirty for the quick click
Evolved to “AFL legend”
- Yeah… a bit of a crap shoot. 50/50 it’s ■■■■■■■ Kane.
Now I’m seeing they’re using “Kane Cornes says” again to exploit the hate bait.

I actually didn’t give the Hawthorn scandal a thought when I read it. I just thought it was about Curtin being in shock and maybe a bit embarrassed. But yeah, I guess it could be having a dig at Clarkson, especially the headline.
