I’d have Sam Pang a rung above the other two you mentioned, but I haven’t seen the show, so maybe he’s demoted himself to their level.

TBH Dawson is the only one of those ones they wish they had or could have kept.
They squeezed the Lemon pretty dry on the rest.
pang doesn’t work as a straight man. largely because he can’t act. the rest of the cast run rings around him so there’s nothing for them to play off. i could see him working as the afl ceo character being a bob kelso from scrubs type - bright and popular when the attention is on him, but vicious to hugh when one on one.
i’d have cast a tim mcdonald or daniel connell type in the pang role. you need just a slight tinge of loser energy to be playing a being-set-up-to-fail character. i’d re-cast the jameson character too.
It’s his first main acting role, everything else was just cameo bits.
I agree it was a strange decision to cast him though. But that industry is a bit job for mates type thing and also he is popular enough for them to want that promotion.
No it’s only their guests which make front bar(pang and Molloy) a sometimes decent watch.
Dave Hughes is a male version of Judith Lucy. And Judith has him for wit.

not one post here about the media in over 10 days and the media have just been relentlessly horrid with speculations about Essendon.
- some unknown journo from CODE sports said ‘sources said welsh wants Solomon’ and the whole media ran with it.
- Gererd Whatley is a …..well…Twatley sums it up perfectly. From complaining about Hird running for coach. and today, complaining about the timing of the announcement… well I can’t find any footage of Wheatley (or any other mainstream footy commentator) talking about the umpire betting scandal running in the courts…. correct me if Im wrong

So much of this. No accountability is put in the media. Once a quote is made public they just circle it around making it seem that it had a factual basis to start from.
this is the audiences job. if people stop watching/listening/reading then they get deplatformed.
getting stirred with any kind of emotion over something a sports slop producer wrote or said is an entirely self inflicted issue
