A song/chant of protest at games?

ASADA’s investigation theme song.
I would think they sang this after the latest decision.

Lie lie lie lie liar you lie lie lie lie
Tell me why tell me why
Why d’you have to lie
Should’ve realised that you
Should’ve told the truth
Should’ve realised
You know what I’ll do

You’re in suspension
You’re a liar

Now I wanna know
Now I wanna know
Why you never look me in the face
Broke a confidence just to please your ego
Should’ve realised
You know what I know

You’re in suspension
You’re a liar

I know where you go everybody you know
I know everything that you do or say
So when you tell lies I’ll always be in your way
I’m nobody’s fool and I know all
'Cos I know what I know

You’re in suspension
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
Lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie

Lie lie lie lie liar you lie lie lie lie
I think you’re funny, you’re funny ha ha
I don’t need it don’t need your blah blah
Should’ve realised I know what you are
You’re in suspension
You’re in suspension
You’re in suspension
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
You’re a liar
Lie lie

Sung to the tune of “Polly Wolly Doodle.”

Nobody loves us, everybody hates us
They say we took drugs
Strong ones, wrong ones, Dank ones, rank ones
They’re all a pack of mugs.

Hird was stitched up, CAS made things up,
ASADA had their way,
Nobody knows how much we hate,
The AFL each day.

Ohh…nobody loves us.

I Support The 34 some1 has posted it on YouTube.I don’t have a clue how to post it here.

Nobody loves us, everybody hates us

They can go 'n get farked

They’re either flogs or lying dogs

And they can all get farked.

Sung to the tune of “The Quartermaster’s Song.”

Oh, they told lies, lies,
Big as Jobe’s thighs,
There at CAS, there at CAS,
They told lies, lies,
A heap of porky pies
At the C – O – A for Sport

Their brains are dim, they cannot see,
The strands are thin and unlikely.
The strands are thin and un- like - ly.

Oh, there was stuff, stuff,
Stuff-ups right enough,
Out of CAS, out of CAS,
There was stuff, stuff,
Pis$ and wind and bluff
At the C – O – A for Sport

Their brains are dim, they cannot see,
The strands are thin and unlikely.
The strands are thin and un- like - ly.

Oh, there’s no tan, tan,
McVeigh’s a white man,
Says the CAS, says the CAS,
There’s no tan, tan,
So it’s TB4 they ran
At the C – O – A for Sport

Their brains are dim, they cannot see,
The strands are thin and unlikely.
The strands are thin and un- like - ly

“Give Truth A Chance”

Two, one two three four
Ev’rybody’s talking about
TB4, Drugstore, Provocateur, Rancour, Forever-More,
Thug-ism, drug-ism,
You did’m, you did’m, you did’m.

All we are saying is give truth a chance
All we are saying is give truth a chance

C’mon
Ev’rybody’s talking about Administers,
Sinisters, Banishers and blasphemers
Gossips and Coverups and Chastise and Dramatise,
And sly sly, ply guy.

All we are saying is give truth a chance
All we are saying is give truth a chance

Let me tell you now
Ev’rybody’s talking about
Revolution, evolution, retribution,
Persecution, regulation, aberrations,
Medications, Testing Stations,
Congratulations.

All we are saying is give truth a chance
All we are saying is give truth a chance

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the foes
See Essendon come to play
Over the field we go
Bouncing all the way
Yells as Bombers ping’
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A spraying song tonight!

Jingle bells, ASADA smells,
Robson ran away.
Look what’s done, for CAS has lied,
In an evil nasty way.
Jingle bells, McDevitt tells,
WADA what to say;
Oh! what fun, to deride
That lying pr!ck all day.

Skyhooks classic!!! Very Australian, not something borrowed from overseas.

Don’t even have to change any words and it works for all party’s involved and the great unwashed.

Why dontcha all
Why dontcha all
Why dontcha all get ■■■■■■
Why dontcha all
Why dontcha all
Why dontcha all get ■■■■■■

So if you’re in trouble right up to your brain
And the boss is gettin’ to you
Parents and politics, money and marriage
And life in general is making you spew
There’s one thing that you gotta do
And I suggest you do it today
Stand up in your office, school or your street
And this is what you gotta say…

Why don’t you and you and you and you
And your rotten friends too
Why don’t you and him and not forgettin’ you
Why dontcha all get ■■■■■■!!

Listening to this song on youtube has made my day. I am worried now that I will randomly start singing it at work…

To Bob Dylan’s Hurricane

Whispers around on a February night
Enter Andrew Demetriou from a corridor
Says if you self report it’ll be alright
Cries out my god they jabbed them all

Here comes the story of a crooked game
And 34 players who all took the blame
For something that they never done
Put them in a state of exile but one time they coulda been
The champions of the world

I had just assumed we were going to appropriate Homer Simpson’s song of protest: ‘Uptown Girl’ by Billy Joel.

Bit partial to this one about staying positive and happy in the bad times:

Keep your sunny side up, up,
Hide the side that gets blue.
If you have nine twenty two sons in a row,
Baseball Football teams make money, you know!

Keep your funny side up, up,
Let your laughter come through, do!
Stand up on your legs,
Be like two fried eggs,
Keep your sunny side up!

You mongrel! First time in this thread and I skim through it to see if anyone’s posted Judy yet, and then I see the last ■■■■■■ post.
The reference to CBS in the final lines of her version might be a bit close to a much hated acronym and some might quibble about Judy’s suitability seeing as she was usually “higher” than Amy Winehouse, but any excuse to give this great treatment of our melody a run.

There’s a lot going on with this particular version of the song that just fits us well.

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or cause
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause

And I know if I’ll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I’m laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To fight the unbeatable foe, to reach the unreachable star

Or…maybe just the first two verses…

When you’re weary
Feeling small
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all

I’m on your side

When times get rough
And friends just can’t be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

When you’re down and out
When you’re on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you

I’ll take your part
When darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Sail on Silver Girl,
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way

See how they shine
If you need a friend
I’m sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind

Embrace the Hate.

NO ONE LIKES US WE DONT CARE

Their on the drugs, their on the drugs, their on the drugs that banned Essendon.

Reference to the 11 other clubs with dodgy supplement programs that the AFL swept under the ■■■■■■■ carpet. As they protected those clubs and refused to name or actually investigate them (even though the did ‘investigate’ them) I have to assume that every other player in the AFL (apart from the Essendon players at the club in 2011/2012 that weren’t banned by CAS and those that arrived at our club since) have the same likelihood as being drug cheats as the 34 we’ve had banned.

Their on the drugs, their on the drugs, their on the drugs that banned Essendon.

Love it!

Love it!

Sorry to be a pedant, but It’s syllabically NQR …

Their on the drugs, their on the drugs, their on the drugs that got Essendon banned works though.
