Adelaide v Dons Friday 7.40pm @ Adelaide oval - unknown year and round

I took it more as ‘shiel has recovered from his injuries and will be available for selection in the next week or two’ than ‘he comes straight in now that he’s fit’.

Could be wrong though

Bryan averages 34+ hitouts in the VFL, good time as any to come in.

After a bye the week before though

In - Shiel CHF
Weidemann FF

on tsatas, holding him over as afl emergency was pretty eh, he was doing a lot of good work in the vfl, and seeing if he could back it up over whole games would be nice

I don’t think Brad will make many more changes than one. Menzie out, Shiel in. Maybe Hind out to play full game of VFL with Tsatas as sub.

Would like to see Reddog get his license to roam back, seems to be held back this year with the introduction of Martin down there.

Kelly the job on Rankine like he did on Weightman, Mckay to keep Tex to 0, Lav to Fog.

McGrath McKay Kelly
Reddog Lav Heppell
Cox Parish Duursma
Gresh Jones Davey
Stringer Langford Shiel

Fol: Goldy Durham Merrett

Bench: Caldwell Draper Hobbs Martin
Sub: Hind/Tsatas

If Tsatas doesn’t get brought in fully then I hope he can be sub at least and we can give him some game time at some point.

I really hope they don’t bring Shiel in based on that VFL game. Not only did he put in some classic half hearted tackling/defensive running, he’ll be chewing up one of Caldwell/Hobbs/Durhams midfield time.

Fark off to bringing in Shiel over Tstatas.

Sadly I do think we will be giving the crows their first win next week.

Based on Scott’s comments last night - you’d think Shiel is in with a real chance to play. Wouldn’t mind it actually.

Though Brad also said Menzie would be fine to play next week as well.

So who knows what will happen.

I’m just really keen for Jones to continue his form. Absolutely rapt that he has taken his opportunity with Wright suspended.

I’m not taking Brads comments that Shiel is likely

Pretty sure the question was around if anyone was due back (injury wise) which wasn’t relevant to Tsatas, only one who is close is Shiel given played half of VFL game. Still needs more than that to be ready IMO

IF Menzie doesn’t play I’d expect Hind gets the full game and Tsatas sub, but he didn’t seem too concerned on Menzie.

What makes you say that?

I know its at home but Crows will most likely be 0-5 after today not sure how they are still favourites next week

Just feel they will have to win one eventually. :joy:

Wouldn’t be tinkering with the squad too much at all this week.

Tracking beautifully at the minute.

I was genuinely asking what area/s and how the Crows would/could/should beat us next week.

Certainly not beyond the realms of possibility at all.

They won’t beat us. We’ll beat ourselves.

Edit: I haven’t been following them at all but I imagine their forwards have been struggling.

Fogarty to kick 6, or something.
