I’ve tracked Bryan closely in his development. He has great leap and tap skills. Good at ground level etc.
But unfortunately his match fitness only reached the minimum level where he could get to enough contests to warrant playing ruck in AFL in latter half of this year. Prior to this he could not contest a centre bounce and get to next contest and one after etc.
Hahahah Gerard a zero fuking idea. No one attributed our wins to Dodo’s recruitment; it was actually Scott’s coaching and the leadership of Zerrett. And before anyone gives him credit for recruiting Zerret; it was actually Bomber who pushed for his selection.

Curious as to how the dodoro defenders can justify his ongoing incompetence in the face of every other department being turned over about 5 times since 2010 and nothing changing performance wise?
I don’t think there needs to be that sort of indication of his role being up for review. I think part of becoming a more professional club means that we don’t need to be transparent about imminent role changes. We shouldn’t be letting it play out in the media. Just get it done and move on.
I would also say part of the change at Essendon is that (for the most part, they’ve let the football be the story (for negative or positive commentary) this year. And they’ve really only gone outside of that is when people leave the club, eg. Mahoney.
You could be right though, but I still I think he’s gone. I just can’t see how reduced influence (of Dodo) equals retention. It’s such a critical role.
