In a compromised competition it really means less than what it should.
We were supposed to be be 1 and 4 or something, were not.
Some of those teams were supposed to be flying, they’re not (or weren’t when we beat them).
So it must be early in the season and there’s absolutely no point putting to much stock in any result up until now. The AFL set up their year in order to maximise profit, that’s it. St Kilda were fish in a barrel the other day, 3 games inside a 10 days or whatever.
So as long as the same olds are having a crack (apart from the crock against port) and playing as a unit you’ve got something to work with but it’s still deeply concerning that for all the change we’ve made we can’t make that final one which is AD stage right, and that’s not necessarily because I hate him, it’s simply cause every time we’ve called the club out regarding personnel (X-tension) they’ve admitted fault.
It’s actually quite impressive how far he’s solidified his position and he’s still pretty much untouchable. Rosa should be getting guidance from anyone but Dodoro unless it’s regarding late picks and fashion. Pretty sure Judkins is back and has seen everything more in comparison and any mentoring should come from that direction.
It appears Scott, Vozzo and Barham have met their Dodoroloo.

No ones criticised Jackets for nigh on three weeks… His list, his guys going OK? where’s the vitriol, where’s the spite? You guys (who know who you are) keeping your powder dry?
After not watching that game last night there’s no one in the comp we can’t beat. Apart from maybe Port. But even they got done by Taylor Walkkkers Texas Klansmen. We have-not played Bris yet, but they aint exactly setting the world on fire, at least nothing their WAGS have seen on their social media accounts.
If you throw a blanket over the competition, apart from owls deafening us with their incessant hooting, over the last couple of seasons we’ve proved we can win anywhere, or at least be in winning positions where it mattered. Its just that the competition isnt set up like that, or played in March, April, May. Its can you win the grindy, squeezy moments or not, which generally come late season.
But that’s just the sign of a list at the foot of the climb. Dodoros assembled a pretty decent group and I’ve never said anything negative about him ever. My account got hacked and it only appeared that way.
OK I blinked. Its do they have the ticker to go the whole 9 yards. Scotts watched it close up once, I doubt he’s going to cop it again twice.
If it does, choppy chop chop. List (only some) and Dodder. Then let Rosa bloom. But if we make a final and even even forbid jag one, its his list.
It’ll be more than three weeks without a peep in here should it come to pass ill wager.

Our list is still shithouse.
Depth is atrocious, and we are lacking in star power.
Even if we overachieve we are talking about 7-8 on the ladder.
I will support the team and enjoy wins. Even hope for a final.
But I’m under no illusions that we are going in the right direction with this fraud involved.

We have the worst % of any team in the 8 by a long way, and the teams we have beaten are all outside the 8. I’m far from convinced we are a good team.
Every year, we have a solid run of wins and every single year, people like yourself are too easily convinced and start to sing Dodo’s praises prematurely.
