AFL cancels Christmas

The last time someone got an infraction at Christmas they were literally crucified.

What happens if Hird doesn't 'come back?

That's a silly question. It's like asking who will replace Fletch when he retires

looking forward to the Footscray game now for a change.
the banner before the game should read "thanks mate"

And: "F@#k you Crameri."

Nah, would rather it read "Teddy Whitten would roll in his grave over how spineless you turds were when pressured by the AFL"

Niall and his 'Hird Truthers' ... Embarrassing journalism. What does Truthers mean? Is that meant to be an insult? And his comment regarding the payout: "Some saw this as a win for Essendon, which is interesting, given that the club is paying a million in advance ... ". Sorry Jake but how else could it be perceived? Yes it cost a lazy million, but it was a million we wanted to pay James Hird. The AFL was trying to stop us, remember?
Tate's article is unworthy of comment, and the decision by the AFL to prevent Hird from attending the Christmas party is just laughable.
Interesting that a News Ltd journo pushed Fahey on his 'charges coming in February' comment and he admitted it was based on no new information.

I read it too, had to laugh that he admits that his comments were based, on the back of general conversations/discussions, what he had read in the media and had not read the interim report.

Hope that door slams him hard on the ■■■■ on his way out.

INDUCEMENT
noun

  1.
a thing that persuades or leads someone to do something.

Why the hell would Hird want to go to the AFL Christmas party anyway?

It's the Essendon staff Xmas party.

What's next? remove his parking spot at Etihad or move it to the furthest point from the elevator.

Banned from driving a KIA ?

I meant it as a punishment.

I'm gonna call AD the Grinch from now on

I understood Hirdy’s now allowed to go, but the AFL’s clear intention is that he has no fairy bread, no red cordial and definitely no piñata. Nor is he allowed to pull on one of those cracker thingies.

AFTER PARTY AT HIRDS

OR

MAKE PARTY IN THE DRUG DUNGEON

OR

HAVE 2014 XMAS PARTY THIS YEAR SO HIRD CAN GO

Peter Gordon is a massive ■■■■ licker. Wish we didn't have a return away against them this year.

What'd I do?

Key words have entered my lexicon:

Allegedly

Infraction

Implied

I also like the way the AFL has rewritten contracts law such that if you think of something that you want in a contract, after it is signed, then you can envoke the retrospective ‘implied’ provision. That is, it’s not in the agreement, but you are obligated under the new ‘implied’ provisions of Vlad law.

Joke.

Jesus Hird might have been crusified, BUT did the Jews get a fine from the Romans* for bringing the game into disrepute? NO
*Vladamir the Greek is close enough to a Roman

What’s the bet that people who bag Kia’s drive Cruize’s.

Totally different company once Schreyer took over design

What happens if Hird doesn't 'come back?

give him 3 days.

l am looking forward to it. As luck would have it l am coming home to Oz for a family wedding. While l will miss the ANZAC day match because of the wedding, l am sticking around for the week to make sure l see a game, as it happens it will be against the Scrays. We will bury them, and also in the return match.

If Hirdy is crucified at Xmas, then he will be resurrected at Easter time ,one way or the other  .

Surely if a party was called and it was not an EFC marketed event, the AFL couldn’t prevent people socialising with Hirdy?
