So was I in 83, nearly burnt out the motor and sound system driving back to Canberra next day, no one spoke until Woomargama, then we plotted revenge.
Out of the country 84 and 85, back in time for more pain in 1990 and 2001.
But I did get to 93 and 200O

Even more painful this way as false hopes were built up to breaking point. That makes the PF result even more delicious to savour, or am l being perverse?

Maybe or maybe not.
A lot of time will be spent working on the Pies game plan and style to find a way to overcome it. This year caught most teams by surprise as it was unexpected and they were an unknown who were not expected to do well. That will not be the case next year.
It will be a test to see if they can continue to be as open with their ball movement as this year.

This year was the perfect cross over of the last gasp end of career efforts of Pendles and Sidearse.
It all went right like there was some kind of devine intervention going on. But there wasnt. They lost on the big stage.
The Daicos boys are naturally small. When its all on their shoulders sides need to put a nasty mean tagger on them who beats on them all day.

That final rushed behind to me looks like the Sydney player throws it like a basketball unless it got punched out of his hands. Would love to see it from another angle.

Yep a PC wanker too, but i especially love it when he tries to act like a knockabout kinda bloke, as opposed to the toff that he actually is.
