Since when are players allowed to start inside the boundary line from an out on the full free kick?
I’ve noticed this several times across the first two weeks. This scenario is mainly near the goals. Is this lazy umpiring or a an adjustment to the rule?
The stand rule/interpretation works much better when the ump fails to make the player with the ball go behind the mark. Sooooooo…
Yes, by definition the player must form a line with the mark and their goals: therefore they MUST be out-of-bounds.

Can we all just agree that the dissent rule was the stupidest thing ever, and that every criticism against it has come true?
He keeps having to stay on because he publicly committed to sticking around until certain issues were resolved, and they keep being delayed. Also, I’m not sure how keen a replacement would be to walk in without these issue having been resolved first.
