WB first trademark was in 1984. It has consistently renewed registration every 10 years.
IDK whether WB got extra protection under the Disney clause in our FTA with USA, which extended IP rights to 2O years or so beyond the standard WIPO years for IP protection.
Maybe the WTO Agreement on TRIPS ( trade related IP) is relevant.

This season has been one of the worst I can remember. I genuinely worry about another 2 teams being added to the league in the next 5-10 years. It’s a worry.
I’m sure the AwFuL will makes trucks of money, but the standard will drop even more.
