Did they interview @Aceman ?
It’s not legit if they didn’t
Canberra? Made bids to enter the comp previously, the biggest area without an AFL team. High income location, good ground, afl popular there and can take in the snsw area too.
I do like Perth 3 though, the city is gonna hit over 3 million soon, second biggest football state in the world and only 2 teams with a 20 team comp, would seem strange.
April fools is over
I don’t really know if I agree with it or not. I don’t think it’s a sign the world has gone mad though.
i would wager that it’s mainly because clubs don’t really give a sht about that data any more
body fat % has fk all bearing on whether a bloke can kick or not
Probably about as much relevance as what school they went to, whether they were school captain or a prefect, how tidy they keep their room or whether they can spell farking Gatorade backwards…
the inherent flaw in psychometric testing is the humans designing the measures
may as well get the tarot cards out
No surprises that Hutchie seemed happy with the news.
Let me just put all these terms here so we can get them out of the way and move on:
Matty’s already used ‘World Gone Made’, so we don’t need to add that one
Woke
Snowflake
Political Correctness
Social Justice Warrior
etc,
etc.
I reckon between GPS tracking, being able to watch replays of games from 10 different angles, and the combine testing; AFL clubs can be pretty well informed about how fit a potential draftee is without tracking skinfolds.
I have no issue with it being prohibited for youngsters. If they want to do it for their own benefit they can buy a set of calipers and find out. Forcing it on a 15/16 year old isn’t ideal at all IMO. There’s enough pressure on teenagers already with body image, let alone having an AFL club tell you you’re a fatty and need to lose weight.
BF is symptomatic anyway. If you are doing the work, and visibly putting yourself in the best shape to play football in terms of performance on the track then BF is most likely to be within parameters.
Just track performance targets. Strength, speed, power and endurance. The rest looks after itself.

She is still trying to emerge from chronic fatigue syndrome.
The responses are unsurprisingly incredibly shithouse. Twitter is a cesspool of insecure haters.
When she played her 10 games for us as the #31 fullback in 2021, I never thought of her as being overweight or unfit. She was a gun.
Yes but this issue is being driven by sensibilities within the women’s league (as is obvious from the above posts) and for political correctness it has to be extended to the men’s comp where it had never been an problem.
How do you know it hasn’t affected young prospective professional footballers, or even current senior footballers?
IIRC Harvs was had bulemia at some stage of his career.
Port used to send blokes off to the fat farm and I know at least one player was traumatised by it
wildly incorrect
one of the outcomes of men becoming more willing to talk about mental health challenges is we find out that sht that was “never a problem” was actually a big fkng problem the whole time but no one brought it up
