Dillon number 2 in the firing line for hiring Kane, being the most awkward sports administrator in the country and indecisive with no leadership skills.
Kane for being out of her depth and being on a huge salary that could go to grassroots if it wasn’t wasted on her.
These 3 imbeciles have let the game slip from being the number one sport in the country by a margin of roughly 25%, to statistically now only a 20% lead over the nrl in the past 2 to 3 years.

I love the Storm. Truly. And by NRL standards it draws well, but more often than not they don’t draw 20k. In the sportiest city that ever sported.
If the Brisbane Lions were in the NRL they’d be in the top four most popular teams in their league.
They don’t have an Adelaide team.
Or a Perth team.
And the AFL has four of them.
Should the AFL be doing more, sure.
Is the Tasmanian team a waste of time and money that should be spent trying to actually expand the game?

But the NRL is not in the same league as the AFL.

I do however keep an eye on all the metrics and trends and as stated above, AFL has typically been 25% more popular in Australia across the board. That gap has closed in the past couple of years to more like 20% due to v’landy’s and the AFL malaise and resting on their laurels.
