Yeah, that sounds more like it.

Purple and the List Mangler we’re making little comments about it without really saying exactly what was going on.

The impression I got though was it extended beyond her alone and the club had a few problems.

Time will tell I guess.

“Hey so I’m coming over from cycling where we’ve done a heap of work on transparency around doping, and I was just wondering about these-”
“This isn’t working out, sorry.”

Not a big fan of “Injection science”?

Lol. :raised_hands:

Lloyd made an interesting comment on trade radio this morning: his info is that EFC have someone earmarked with pick 11 and will absolutely not give up the pick for this reason.
Questions:
1 do we believe this or was lloydy just parroting something that we wanted him to put out there like the Essendon champion that he is?
2 who do we think the pick 11 guy is? Hunter Clark? Nathan Murphy?

Pick 11 is for another big fish.

The EFC rebuild continues…

It’s got to be a load of rubbish. The only way you could be certain now that no other team was interested, was if the player was either hidden or disregarded by most. Can’t see it being believable.

He was a very good footballer, Lloydy.

I don’t know. Sometimes you get stuff out of the nowhere like Gibbs and Adelaide, Franklin and Swans.

There may be a midfielder out there who just wants to play for us and will wait til the last minute so as not to create a circus.

Or maybe that’s wishful thinking…

When I’ve seen him on tv, Lloyd seems like a good bloke but dopey at the same time.

Isn’t he talking about keeping 11 for the draft because there is someone we believe will still be available that we rate higher than Stringer?

Perhaps said midfielder just played in a GF and needs some time for the club/he to mourn and perhaps their B&F to pass before ripping their collective hearts out of their chests again.

Been plenty of twitter talk Crows might pull trigger early if worried he will go as a F/A next year on a monster deal they can’t go close to matching.

Then again it could be any number of still contracted players. Dodoro indicated would
be more movement in that regard.

Sorry. I presumed he meant keeping it for an established player…

I have been suspicious the entire time that the club has a top MIDFIELDER lined up from somewhere that isn’t in the public sphere.

I could be dreaming though…

Yes he was talking about the draft

Well if he is talking bout the draft the only way you could have a very specific player is if you are reaching for that player or if you rate them substantially different to other clubs…

After the first handful, everyone will rate this year’s draft crop differently I suspect.
