AFL Trade Radio

Reckon we might get involved in some pick swaps with the Lions.
Lions will get 19 compo for Rocky.
Their pick 18 & 19 is similar in value to our 11 & 28.
We could give 18 or 19 to the Dogs for Stringer and still have a pick inside 20 to trade or go to the draft with. Would fit in with the narrative that pick 11 won’t be used on Stringer

I like your thinking.

I don’t think we’ll be waiting around to see if Brisbane get pick 20 for Rockliff.

More likely pick 11 (maybe a second round pick as well) for Schache and pick 19.

FA and RFA starts Friday so Brisbane may have Rocky out by Monday morning.

Doesn’t fit with the “club wants to take pick 11 to the draft” narrative.

Thats very interesting especially because its their official accounts.
Swap of picks
Deal for schache?
Who knows hmmm

True.
We are pretty keen on Bradshaw but think he will go in the 10-15 region so yeah something has to give

Brisbane has said during week that their focus is on inside mids. Losing Rockliff.

Have to wonder if Myers / Howlett might be part of our offer.

Breaking news -Motlop currently at the Gold Coast suns

Barrett breaking news on Motlop…

Motlop seen going to the Suns and touring the facilities.

Purple breaking the news that Steve Motlop toured the Suns… about 4 hours after the news actually broke… Typical.

yep funny stuff

This guy is too much. Does anyone at all take him seriously any more?

Is trade radio down? I’m not getting sound

Yeah my feed died too.

I jumped to the front screen and accessing it from there rather than the video section, working much better.

I get this sinking feeling we are getting no one…
I hope I am wrong,
Stringer is a worry, could have easily came out and said his club of choice.

That would be one way we could guarantee who we get in the draft as per lloyd’s comments. Pick 11 and what for pick 1?

I’m wondering if Essendon and Footscray have met yet regarding Stringer?

I reckon Connors will want the trade deal done between Essendon & WB, before they announce a club. They’ll want the paper work completed and ready to be submitted on the first minute of trade period.

Which is why they are keeping Geelong open as an option.

Surely the decision is with Stringer.

I think the decision has been made and Connors is just doing his job, which is create the perception that there are options.

He’s coming to the Bombers.

Except the Bulldogs list manager said of the radio this morning he doesn’t expect the trade to happen until the last day of trade period.
