NINA… no.
Emma King takes her seventh mark in the goal square. Has been imposing forward and back.

Garner came back on after a long break, instantly racking them up again. She might have a perfect 15 from 15 coach votes after three rounds.
32 disposals, 11 tackles, and 1 goal.
Prespakis “just” 27, 8, and 1.
Cats 3.4.22 lose to Norf 4.7.31
Despite the see-saw scoring, it was decent by both teams all the way through (apart from Norf’s inability to convert their chances). Lots of stars on both sides.
There is a red-bellied black snake on/around the field at Blacktown.
The start of the GWS-Richmond game is delayed, 14 minutes so far.
This better not deny us any coverage of our game!
LOL, it’s a baby, barely a foot long.
Not that intimidating.
Removed.
Back to THE BEST SONG IN THE BUSINESS.
Currently 32º there. That’s not fun.
0-2 after one quarter
Yet to be seen if both teams wilt equally in the heat, or one will take over.
Richmond have won a game and GWS have not, so go BIG BIG SOUNDS.
Game is almost over a Yassir snap goal.
Tiggers 3.7.25 lead the Ghouls 1.3.9 after two-and-a-half quarters.
GWS in danger of hitting the bottom of the ladder… but goal as I write that.
15-25
And goal again!
BIG BIG SOUNDS FROM THE WEST OF THE TOWN.
21-25
We just got Simon-Madden-on-Gareth-John knee-to-throat violence at the bounce.
Free to GWS, they go forward, goal, and LEAD!
27-25
34-25!!!
EDIT: and then Richmond go BANG-BANG to make it 34-37 at the final break. Yessir two goals this quarter.
Richmond ultimately won comfortably, unfortunately. But if we beat them later in the year they are unlikely to be a threat to us.
Freo, our opponent next week, smashed the Hawks early but are just holding on right now (in the third quarter).
21-14 for Freo at home (next week is at Windy Hill).
Freo entirely propped up by Aine Tighe – the 185cm Irish (der) forward who debuted last year at 30yo.
3 goals and 12 marks at the final break. She kicked 4 goals versus the Hawks last year, too.
Today’s match Eagles V Blues, our daughter special comments person.
Saints lost to Port 48-56. Three weeks in, they now basically need to win all of their remaining Not-Big-Four games to make finals.
(They have one game vs the Bears, which I’m writing off.)
Pies-Suns match, just started, should give us a decent sense of where these two teams sit. We play both of them.
Unremarkable first half of the game.
Suns 2.2.14
Pies 1.6.12 (and at least one on-the-full)
FCFC have the WCE bye this week: 34-6 at half-time
With three minutes left and Gold Coast leading by five points, they get a VERY slow over-ride (as in 25 seconds late) from the goal ump. And it becomes a seven-point play to bury the Pies!
(Goal ump called it at the time, but no field ump noticed her. Time appeared to be lost as a result.)
Gold Coast 5.36.33 defeat Pies 2.9.21
Plus the ump then pays a Sun being run down a metre out from the Pie goal as a push! LOL
Crowd is urinated off. Nice.
I only saw bits of the first quarter, but it seems the Bin Chickens are consistently not being complete pushovers. Sure, they lost to Big Four member the Bears 32-87 but it was 12 scoring shots to 17.
They did similar last week vs budding contender Geelong.
EDIT: they scored 31 of their 32 points in a 25 minute period either side of half time. That sounds nice, but 1 point in 60 minutes is horrific.
Brisbane Lion womens team should teach our mens team how to football.
