Saints have thrown in some late scoring… ends 41-68, and therefore the Hawks could survive a narrow loss.
If the Tiggers reach 35 points the Hawks have to win.
Neither team can get it done.
Hawks finally goal two minutes before halftime, and lead 1.5.11 to 1.2.8… I didn’t think the graph above would remain relevant for this long!

Separately, winning this game is also worth a McClelland million dollars for the Hawks.
Pretty much over: Hawks lead 38-23 with 3:11 left.
So the only useful result now is Port losing to the Dogs (would get us 6-7 with the Tiggers).
I am reasonably confident that if there are no further slip-ups that it will be:
- Fri: Norf vs Adel
- Sat: Freo vs EFC
- The final two games include three today-playing teams, so may or may not be Sat or Sun.
Note there is only one direct red-eye Perth-Melb on Saturday (Jetstar).
