It appears the goal is for both clubs to stay quiet to ensure there are no attendance issues.
The game against Werribee next week should be less of a problem on that front.
It would be very AFL and very EFC if they couldn’t be bothered to tell anyone they moved the game back an hour (added bonus of overlapping the AFLW and VFL games).
Or the Pies are still on daylights savings… who knows?
Can we start the game at 9:30 and build a healthy lead?

Pies literally didn’t turn up to the VFLW practice match at Windy Hill in 2018, so we played an intra-club.
Steph Hird kicked the first goal, and was never seen again.
It’s definitely not a 9:30 start.
Given no EFC fan would know that, the club’s campaign to ensure no one attended has been successful. I’ve NEVER been able to park AT the northern entrance before, for any level of game.

We only have ~23 out there, which is a bit worrying for a “match simulation” which presumably has no limits.
