We are where we are.
This isn’t a surprising result at all.
Not even close to the Adelaide class of team yet. Which is fine.
We don’t play anyone in that class again this season. Geelong is probably the closest.

They should go undefeated this year. They are clearly the best team in the comp.

We have Bonnie and Maddie and then it drops away
VDH, Sophie Alexander, Daria Bannister etc. are all pretty good.
We just aren’t at the top level yet. We will get there.

AFLW is different to AFL.
You can’t just ‘grab a FA’ because these women actually have a day job they work in.

5.4.34 to 12.9.81 is slightly worse than I’d hoped.
We don’t play Melbourne or Norf or the Bears.
Could be anywhere between 4-1 and 2-3 before meeting Geelong.
Then we have the run of Tiggers (variable form, at best), Eagles (■■■■) and FCFC (■■■■) to get us to or near finals.

I think its time for the aflw to treat the ladies as full time players like the mens. The women want to leave their day job and play footy full time
