Maddy as a Don averages 35 disposals vs the Cats – i.e. ~50 in an AFLM-length game.

The Braves lost; he might be off wallowing.

Clearances waxed and waned…

but after them, we lead around the ground.

Cats caught up on the marks late.

Won the tackles despite having more of the ball.

Great win by the girls. Not for the first time we got better as the game went on, showing a lot of resilience and not panicking when we were down early. Maddie P was brilliant all game. Thought Georgia Nanscawen led the way in that third quarter though which helped to turn the tide. She is so determined and hard at the ball.

For the first time in many weeks, my model says we make finals (eight, ahead of Sydney only by percentage!)

My picks have us finishing higher (and hosting the Big Four Bears in the first week of finals, after they lose to Melbourne and the Crows in the last four rounds…)

P.S. You should be barracking for the Tiggers today… though them having a bad two-week slump would be OK too.

Got strong fingers as well as pace.

This bobbled out, but it was a big play by Georgia Clarke running back with the ball.

“Here, have a look at it before I’m gone.”
