The VFLW team had to play against Melbourne, so it’s only fair that the AFLW team get to play Casey.
Bet the bastards don’t play fair, again.
Bizarrely, this is their home game, and we still get to stay in Victoria.

I always thought it was Princess park… there you go.
I usually call it Pissy Park, but the stench embedded in the bricks of the dunny near the SW entrance has almost dissipated a couple decades after they were ripped down.

Unfortunately we won’t be donning the rainbow sash until next week against the Bulldogs (round 9) and Brisbane (round 10).
Bloody brilliant guernsey though. Best one they’ve done for pride round so far.
Essendon will welcome back reigning Best and Fairest winner Maddi Gay for its round eight clash with Melbourne.
While the star comes back to take on her former side, the Bombers will have to fare without Alex Morcom, who’ll be sidelined with a quad injury.
More details on Morcom’s injury will be presented in next week’s injury report.
Well, fark that for an “improvement”.
MELBOURNE
In: M.O’Hehir
Out: J.Rigoni (omitted)
ESSENDON
In: M.Gay
Out: A.Morcom (injured)
That forward line: bloody hell.
Hiding Hore in the midfield… and people still speculating she’ll kick five goals versus us to be the first to 100 goals.
Still the best Georgia “Klarke" in the AFLW!
And we’re NOT getting the 100 game milestone: MORCS was set to reach that tally this week!
(Would have been 63 VFLW + 37 AFLW – her first 6 VFLW games were with Diamond Creek before we existed)
Nice close up shot of you on the tv! @theDJR
I hope we looked suitably grumpy at this ■■■■ location.
■■■■■■■ Casey is better.
