We’re on the left. FCFC out-possessed us in the second half to catch up, but the kick/handball split was very different.
It didn’t feel like we were killed in the ruck, unlike last year. But we won the clearances regardless.
I don’t like it. Wrong I may be but today (and last week) she goes into the middle and has no impact. We won the centre stoppage, kicked it forward where nobody from our side was in a position to mark it. Going back for the last couple of minutes in a quarter I can cop but she’s not a midfielder and shouldn’t be anywhere near it.
What a cool looking sash.
Loving the reporting on ABC news - Carlton was no match for the Bombers. They jumped their arch rivals. Carlton still a chance for the finals, but you wouldn’t know it from the way they played today.
Crowd = 3812
That may or may not include our “insiders only” use of the Hird Stand. Top deck of that has been pretty light-on before today, but I suspect we got the extra 600 purely at the school end and filling out the pockets of the public stands.
Wonderful, a great response. Well done Bomber fans.
On TV it definitely looked the most crowded I’ve seen it at the school end, as well as I front of the Gym / opposition rooms area. Being on TV I couldn’t see how crowded the grandstands were.
Shes tge perfect antidote to the Essington red time goal curse, that’s why.
Do you have to sign a waiver before you go up there? From my usual vantage point at the school end on the near flank, it looks on the verge of being condemned. A shame given it bears such a great name.
Which stand? They’re both fine.
Actually, now that tou say that, i’m probably thinking of the cookson? Stand
Top deck of the Cookson (mostly used by media) hasn’t been open to the public for decades.
Radford was excellent today. Thought she may have been dropped after last week but definitely bounced back!!
Bonnie was clear best in my opinion.
