Really, the solution to AFLX is to have the women play it - will cure the low scoring problem in the AFLW and the smaller playing list will mean the quality will arise across the board.

AFLW and AFLX are actually made for each other and solve each others glaring problems. So, bring on AFLW-X.

I’ve seen low intensity training sessions with more intensity than the highlights snippets I’vr seen tonight - a worry given highlights are meant to showcase the best bits.

It’s one variation of the game that would actually benefit from a smaller ground and less players.
