EY had nothing to do with the CEO appointment. They were not contracted for that. Just the review.
They were though in charge of background checks and work experience history of the CEO candidates.

First time Iāve gotten a round of applause in a while.
I had a follow up chat with Barham afterwards. It felt like his answer was talking at me as opposed to talking to me. He spoke about the importance of getting into schools and interacting with kids, I must say I didnāt really feel listened to in that moment. Iām talking about a proper, meaningful program with links to the health and PE curriculum (like Footscray, their program is great and really making a difference).
The highlight of my night was chatting with Ken Fraser. An absolute gentleman.

It felt like they waffled a bit, a little disappointing.
Having said that, Iām more interested in what they do going forward. Are they going to do the things that they say they will? Off field, the two key things will be the facilities at the Hangar and Windy Hill.

I donāt have it in front of me but 10 and 8 directors are the most common board sizes in the league - I think thereās 7 clubs with each. North have 6 and Swans have 11.
Thatās off the top of my head, so I may have it slightly wrong but 10 is not unusual.

Was hoping heād sayā¦ Yes, itās no longer fit for purpose for 2-3 of our current home games each year which would be sellouts in good onfield years so weāre renegotiating to reverse venue split to 7 X MCG / 4 X Marvelā¦
