Aiden Bonnar - stuck in the queue at GWS

By all accounts super talented. Had 2 ACL’s as a kid, otherwise would have been in the number 1 pick discussion (according to the experts at the time).

Seems to be stuck behind everyone at GWS - is there spot for him here or is he too Stringer / Laverde like?

Any truth to the rumour that the ECB have been on the phone to see if he’s ever had any experience opening the batting?

Last time I saw him play, i thought I saw him limp.

Hately and Caldwell have already seemed to have gone past him. GWS used the pick that they got from the Devon Smith trade on him. Only fair they send him to us cheap.

He is famous enough to have a bridge in Scotland named after him.

And an Iconic line of LawnMowers.

I just want to make a bonar joke every time he kicks a goal.

Good Evening Alan

What was the injury afflicting Bonnar to cause him to limp when you viewed him?

I would throw a second or third round for him. Not worth a first.

Kid is super talented and Emma Q rated him highly enough to take him with the first round pick. 2 ACL’s before he is even 20 is ■■■■■■ scary though.

I think he would replace a langford/myers type. From a stats point of view he has been pretty inconsistent in the NEAFL this season, whether that is because of different roles or form, i don’t know.
Has he actually got elite skills or is it mostly hardness and tackling that makes him good?
