The selectors also should have made a call on Heeney in the middle (id say over Serong) and if Warner was a better wing prospect than either Daicos or Gulden.
Id have both Sydney wingers - its why they have been so lethal on transition.

Very disappointed for Merrett but not surprised. He doesnt get a lot of love outside of the club. His Brownlow votes are always pretty low as well (IMO).
Serong was ■■■■ the 2nd half of the year Merrett was robbed.

The fact that they expect Merrett to drag his horrible Dodoro picked team to the heights of those at Footscray, Sydney, Brisbane etc is pathetic. It’s not his fault his team mates are spuds. His performance this year was arguably his best ever
