“Freedom of Speech”

Let’s explore this phrase.

Freedom of expression (including speech) is one of the fundamental Human Rights as part of the United Nations Charter.

The problem that we have with many people complaining about Not enough “freedom of speech”, is that they want to use this to sh*t on the other 29 human rights.

Australia doesn’t have Freedom of speech in its constitution. Everything anyone says, has consequences.

but using one article of human rights, to abuse another article is farcical.

I would like to feel free to say that I never miss an episode of The Outsiders on Sky News, I feel they give a fair commentary on what is happening in our world. If you would like to see it, it is on Sunday mornings at 9.00am thru to 11.00am.
