He (and the board) ratified Thorburn as CEO without doing due diligence. They have failed to do their job and now the club is in a mess. That is just being accountable for your ■■■■ ups.

You see I would have thought leading an organisation which charges people money whilst doing nothing for them and charging dead people fees would have been what got him unstuck

This creates a very dangerous precedent. What happens the next time when someone at the club holds different views to someone else. Do they get sacked or asked to resign.
