Try it, you might be surprised.

That’s Big Johnny Setka’s number :squinting_face_with_tongue:

Nah his number has strangely disappeared.

Yeah I think he’d be good at it. Right skillset / mix of experience too.

So far I think he has done a decent job. I don’t hold any ill will towards him for staying strong on Zac

This current coaching appointment will be his legacy. Hopefully it’s a good one

Merrett trade disaster aside (see what we get in October), Welsh can salvage his legacy by choosing a coach that is willing to go 110% in on a proper rebuild, even if that means a very painful 2-3 seasons still to come.

Swagger

I think we are already at that point tbh. We are already the second youngest list and we will likely lose our two best players and parish.

I don’t think any coach will be able to get any more than a bottom 4 finish in 27 and 28, and it’s likely to be a bottom 2 spot.

Plus the whole “Brad is our next Premiership coach” after he was part of the board who wrongly and needlessly extended him.

Plus the parachuting of his mate from board to assistant to head coach.

He’s been a disaster so far

Hard to argue

Yea, but he has Swagger

in all seriousness I hope he turns the club around, we all do. He just hasn’t got off to the best start.

Agree here.

We absolutely need him to turn things around but been a very shaky start

Nah getting rid of Brad is the best thing he has done for the club. Was infuriating listening to Scott 4 years into his tenure whilst we were 18th making out like he had been rebuilding for years.

The continuous selection of failing senior players and no accountability for their disastrous performances makes me feel like we arent fully committed to the rebuild, whether right or wrong.

Whispers out of the club that there will be a bounce worry me. Hopefully the catastrophic post Scott era is enough proof for them though the lack of accountability for senior players doesnt fill me with confidence they have realised we need to move past 50% of them.

Solly was more likely the spy that Welsh planted to see what Scott was doing.

If this was the case its genius. I think theres a 50/50% chat it was.

Aside from his terrible decisions and obvious nepotism, he has been great.
