I was there in April. First visit. Awesome place. I spent two days in Akihabara and did all the things like maid cafes. We even had a maid tour guide show us around to all the best known and little known spots :)
Japanese girls are not the same as Japanese Anime girls.
Applying for JET program next year. Although I want to go back later in the year if possible.
Also for figurines, my goodness they are all so much cheaper!

Yeah, my mate brought back a few Pokemon figurines for me, I could see my kid(when I have one) having a room full of these

Partner and I brought back basically 2 suitcases of anime figurines.
I need to get to a wedding in Macau early 2016 so seeing if I can squeeze in a week in Japan as well, but also wanting to do another month in autumn 2016!
On actual anime, just watched Sailor Moon Crystal. Sure there are the two minutes of them transforming but the anime itself and storyline is pretty good. Having watched the originals (in English mind you) I thought the reboot was very well done.

I have seen a trailer or a snippet on sailor moon and it looks interesting. Back when I watched sailor moon, let’s just saw the young teenage me was paying attention to only certain things haha
But I’ll have to follow up. Currently catching up on fairy tail(2014), different but I don’t mind at all
