Why wonât the Algerian boxer just agree to take a gender test to end it once and for all?
Algeria only recognises M and F genders, nothing in between.

thereâs enough gaps in the ibaâs processes to reasonably assume they made the entire thing up in order to invalidate results against an unbeaten russian boxer at the 2023 world championships
iâm self-aware enough to understand that calling something a ârussian misinformation campaignâ is an incredibly cheap cop out that automatically invalidates most arguments, but there isnât a better descriptor that fits this situation
even then a publicly released test wouldnât resolve anything. most people have already made up their mind and wonât change it based on new information.

Mick Molloy and Titus OâRielly did a really good podcast on the boxing issues at the Olympics. It appears the gender concerns for the Algerian boxer are completely unfounded.
It is well worth a listen to understand the real back story.

Seems well founded given it appears there is little truth to any gender issues for the Algerian athlete.

She ran 47 low in the 4x4 final (ie well faster than Bolâs mixed leg). Just no one noticed because it set up the US to win by the length of the straight.
