The guidence is the problem. We are guiding them to squibb contests, miss 1 meter handballs and miss 15m kicks.
My highlight was how nicely laundered our uniforms were. Top marks there. Not a spot or stain.
To be fair, if Tsatas had been selected as sub and given a quarter of football, people wouldnât be happier.
Canât rebuild if we keep finishing somewhere around 10th every season. Our percentage is putrid and we are still not at the bottom of the ladder.
Harley really shouldnât be costing a lot more than Bailey Smith.
Cos I think Iâd rather have bought Bailey Smith at his price
MAYBE, WE COULD CALL OURSELVES THE ESSENDON DEVILS, THEN THE AFL WONâT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANOTHER ROOFED GROUND IN TASMANIA. WE ARE WELL AND TRULY DONE.
WE ARE NOT EVEN VFL RATED. WE MAY EVEN GET THE SPOON this season.
Positives for me. Setterfield really our best mid today mixing with big boys, still not good enough. misssed Durham would have been good in Smith or Holmes.
Also Zak Johnson. He is possibly the find of the season. Iâve been in his bandwagon from day one. but might put him on 25+ disposals for next week. Heâs a good user and we now look for him and heâs taking kick ins for a third gamer crazy. Has pretty good composure too, players give him hospital balls and he turns them into 50/50.
Clarke got to play wing on Dempsey and on Jeremy cameron for a few minutes, he would have got a great learning experience even though not a great game.
Day wicks had a crack, itâs just the synchronicity isnât there for him and other players, heâs likely expecting more of senior guys, but they are in self preservation mode and made some of his ambitious disposals get turned over.
Lual, got chewed up and spat out today, still ran hard, but a lot of running without purpose. Geez I hope Scott gives Davey the wing next week, Davey has better footy IQ and knows how to get involved i. the play better and when to go, hopefully he has a good VfL game tonight.
Blakiston massive task and was serviceable. would have liked to see him do a little ruck work.
May had a couple
of nice moments and better than Caddy but was a bit of starvation corner for the kid, showed a little.
Cats just out pressured and out worked us we turned it over and then they cut us up.
itâs all learning . we can see whoâs not up to it so I see that as a weird positive . I donât blame our champion players that have made errors tonight , they are under enormous pressure to carry the players that have barely played and are also playing under enormous pressure against teams rhat are many levels above us. itâs â â â â â â â hard at the moment. they tried hard tonight under very difficult circumstances
Its really really hard to out tank North and West Coast
Smith was that price because the Dogs wanted him gone and the Cats are the masters at swindling other clubs.
Our standards are so low this was expected.
But how many times do we accept those â â â â â â â turnovers for no reason in defence. Kills us. I expect better.
Bailey had a certain discount due to âissuesâ, but without having met Harley, knowing nothing of Harley, and only having seen footballing footage of Harley, I would be shocked, stunned and also flabbergasted if he did not share some of these âissuesâ.

How is playing Brownlow winning footy an issue?
Its the uncontested turn overs from blokes who should know better. No one doubts endevour but stupid turn overs are very frustrating.
No need for a shower today blokes didnât want to get down and dirty
and all the clubs just sit back and let it happen.
Even on here, people were rubbishing Smithâs ability because heâs been MIA for 2 years.
Memoryâs of a f*cking goldfish
I think it may be easier for us than you think.
yeah very hard to take that. I agree. I reckon we have them at least 10.first half goals from unforced errors.
itâs very difficult to try to get connection with more than half the team that is new to the level . this wasnât how it was supposed to be this year . no other team has the injuries we have so this team is cobbled together . itâs very hard at the moment
Itâs the footy godsâ way of stopping us from drafting top end talent.
Itâs the footy gods of showing that they donât want our de-development coaches to stuff up the careers of the top end talent.
