This puts things in perspective:
I had Mrs Krabappel in grade 2, and I reckon she’d knock any shooter onto his ar$e, I’m betting.
When I lived in Houston, there was a gun show on every other weekend. A big sign beside the 610 loop advertised it.
It was notable the weekend that the sign advertised the Houston Quilt Show instead.
As I understand it, there are waiting period waivers if buying a firearm at a gun show. Hence the almost permanent temporary exhibition - sort of like those rug showrooms always going out of business.
Two free AR-15 magazines with every quilt purchased!
and for just $9.99 more we’ll throw in a bump-stock.
OMG. Won’t anyone think of the children.
I’m reckoning that with every baby pacifier (dummy), there’s a give-away Glock-19. Ya know, nothing too big to start off with.
Just a little something they could hide in their diapers, so that when the big bad shooter storms into pre-kinder… Pow, pow, pow, right in the kisser.
Reportedly gun violence is the leading cause of death of Latino males in the 14 to 18yo bracket.
“Our thoughts and prayers and we need more guns”
Mass Shooting Stakes.
First prize - Thoughts and prayers.
As they turn into the home straight, California are the pack leader, double the distance of mass shootings in the neck and neck race for second place by Texas and Florida. It could go to a photo finish for second here.
Colorado, Washington, and Pennsylvania are sitting comfortably behind the leaders now coming off the turn, looking for a break in the field for a late run home.
Wisconsin, Illinois, and New York are not far off the pace at the last, but would need to do a bit more to be amongst the minor placings. Major city gun sales could see them rise with a bullet here and the state councils are looking for the whip.
Just turning into the straight now are Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, and the underperforming Michigan. It’s going to take a miracle to greet the judges from there, but they’ll be better off for the gun.
Next into the straight comes Nevada, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Connecticut. You could throw a blanket over the rest of the back of the field, including the late money backed Mississippi as they head for home.
And at the post, it’s California taking out the big race with Texas and Florida in a photo for second and third. You can forget the rest, although Colorado taking out fourth is the surprise packet and could be the one to watch.
What i find hilarious is Amercians saying “Well if Australia had access to guns then the person who stabbed people in the shopping mall wouldn’t happened” rofl
Another day, another mass shooting in the US. This time at a high school in Georgia.
Those thoughts and prayers just ain’t making much difference.
In a district represented by this marvelous human:
A 14yo did this. Just horrific.
I hate it when this thread works it’s way up to the top.
America … please stop this senseless carnage
It’s like no one is listening.
As the father of a 14 year old it’s just perplexes me that mine can’t barely pull a doona back on their bed, let alone a trigger to murder class mates.
America =
As the father of a 12yo who goes to school here in the US, I am terrified!
