Another Mass Shooting, (Just Another Day) in America

How many “lone wolf” white-male-in-their-20s-who-frequently-posted-in-white-nationalist-online-forums do there need to be before we stop using “lone wolf” and instead adopt a collective noun?

Ever the combative. I didn’t suggest he wasn’t moved or that he didn’t do the right thing, only that he took the obvious course and if you think his gallery of snits weren’t crunching the numbers i’ve a bridge with Sorfed and Trip living in sin under it for sale.

On the scale his dark is infinitely heavier than his light. And to add before I remove myself from a silly side argument I shouldn’t have initiated, sorry, he continues to reap a positive legacy from it which is wretched but we’re a pretty dumb lot.

Howard didn’t do the “easy” thing. Remember how much crap he copped at an early public speech (and his politically dopey decision to wear a bulletproof vest)?

It’s one of the few things I’ll positively credit him with.

The word easy was not used. I commend the parliament of the day for making a logical decision that benefits the nation still, such a rare occasion, but I won’t thank that mendacious war pig lackey and I find it ridiculous that praise is heaped upon him alone. Anyway, we all have our views on what his actual legacy means today.

I am glad they are doing something, although it is a shame that it took repeated issues and then a mass shooting before the action came.

This morning, the internet infrastructure company which services 8chan, Cloudflare, says the site has “repeatedly proven itself to be a cesspool of hate” and it will terminate its service as of midnight tonight Pacific Time — meaning its users will no longer be protected from cyber attacks.

“Cesspool of hate” is a moniker that could given to the entire internet.

Fk, game day threads will be next

Also the problem with Cloudfare jumping off is that they are a pretty good internet citizen who actively cooperate and assist law enforcement. Other companies that provide the same services are not so responsible…

Hi IT. When you copy and paste snippets from articles you should provide a link or at least tell us what you’re doing. How do we know where the real IT starts and when the work from journalists stops? The responsible thing to do is give credit when you’re using someone else’s work.

Cloudflare just provide ddos protection at the end of the day. They don’t host the site or anything (no idea who does, I know lots of that stuff used to be hosted on servers in the Philippines, not sure if that’s still true)

I’m honestly not sure what difference there is between a good corporate citizen ddos protection service and an unprincipled one. It’s not like they have access to the site’s data or membership list or anything.

White supremacists?

Or

Ku Klux Klan wannabes.

Sorry

How hard would it be to just start up 16chan?

Exactly.

Hold on, this is brand new and in the lovely new Glock box with extra magazine.

I am told that to buy a Glock 19 in Melbourne Western Suburbs it is $8000 and they do not take credit cards and you have to pick it up, and I do not think it comes in the original packing.

Wow. So it IS a great offer. I’ll buy a dozen in that case.

Melbournians are so ripped off.

Sorry, this Beto O’rourke? Off the record?

Not hard at all, but Cloudfare won’t offer protection for them either I suspect.

I was thinking “cowards” or something but yeah we could be a little more formal than that
