Anzac Day was my late Dad’s birthday. He was an Army man and Bombers Supporter. He loved going to Anzac Day, but mum alway scheduled birthday dinners and the like. It used to upset him, but he never said anything.
Now I’m married and have a Son who has a birthday on the 26th. My wife is always trying to schedule something so I can’t go, and like Mum, does not understand why I love going to the G.
