Alternatively, race out thinking you’ll beat the crush and get the early train, which you do. Then the train sits there, and sits there and sits there. And then the siren goes and it still sits there. Until it’s full of raucous feral magpie supporters. And you have to listen to their ■■■■ the whole way to Northcote.

This wasn’t Anzac Day but I think it was the last game of the season in 2015. And we beat the Magpies.

Got onto the train and sat down. To which a Magpies supporter loudly said “OH NO, I DON’T WANT TO SIT NEXT TO DRUG CHEATS”.

So I loaded up the Essendon song on my phone and played it. Loudly. What commenced was a carriage wide argument over which team had the most positive drug tests.

Looking back at it now, I’m surprised I didn’t get belted.

So the rush for tickets for us is Wednesday 21st. As it is an away game, at least a Flexi 8 is needed to be eligible.

Would think it unlikely that anything goes through to public sales, certainly if capacity stays at 75%.
