tis what ■■■■■ me about umpiring in general.
In a game where it’s close and both teams are playing relatively well, how without corruption can they see 7 more free kicks to one side than the other.
ok might not seem it if was 30-23.
But they are essentially saying in a half of football the dogs only did 3 illegal acts that warranted a penalty, and that is simply not statistically possible when you factor in such a broad and all encompassing rule book that allows you to see one piece of play 20 different ways as “technically illegal”.
