Is having both a stoppage coach and a Midfield coach common amongst other clubs ?
Correct and our talent atm is nowhere near it. Having a good list can cover up the deficiencies of any club.

Fagan - never played a game of AFL Footy vs Scott 150+ AFL games with 2 premierships. Fagan no previous senior experience. Scott a prelim final coach.
Bruce - 2 years at Carlton before joining Brisbane where they finished 16th and 18th vs Stanton as a development coach who tenure coincided with Fark Carlton ladder position not going backwards
Davis - playing experience highlight was four seasons as Vice-Captain at local Queensland side the Zillmere Eagles between 2001 and 2004 and played 11 fewer AFL games than Roberts. Davis coached a NEAFL premiership team - Roberts coached a Premier Division VAFA premiership team

I don’t think it’s about whether Cam Roberts sucks or not. It’s whether Cam Roberts and his experiences and background is what we need as a forward coach when our forward line is, and this is an understatement, a ■■■■■■■ disaster.

It seems that Cam Roberts had already stepped in as the forward line coach, for at least a short period, in 2023. This was when Dale Tapping stepped away from the club due to his health in June 2023.
For better or worse - Scott and the other coaches think he’s the best man for the job, following the dress rehearsal.
Our assistant coaches have to be some of the most vanilla, boring uninspired coaches out there
