Please tell me this is the last we hear/see of this imbecile
Lel
He’s still got his rape case in QLD to go through.
Once you get a taste of the limelight it’s hard to go back to being a normal every day rapist
“Having escaped the lion’s den, [he] made the mistake of going back for his hat”
The law won?
It is a problem for our entire Nation. Can you imagine unbridled lunatics with their racism, bigotry and stupidity in charge ? At times we may not think much of Labor or LNP Governments but One Nation with any power would be catastrophic.
that would require their reps to stay with the party for more than a week after getting elected
ONP are a legitimate worry for this nation.
The amount of people falling for their populist racist schtick is truly concerning.
People fleeing to nationalism, barbarism, hatred, simple stupid answers, hating Albanese and in particular Wong (oh yes) for simply existing…
The Liberal Party disolving into moderate Teals and Far Right Crazies at the ONP (all four of them, three of them complete farkwits) is bad bad bad for this country.
people flee to this because the current government offers nothing in material improvements to the lives of the working class*
even if its a totally flawed and false and bullsht promise that will never eventuate, the promise of a material improvement is much much more appealing than what’s currently on offer - no improvement at best, but in most cases actively getting worse
(* “working class” in this instance means anyone who has to sell their labour to survive)
I can’t argue the premise.
But going to worse is…y’know…Worse.
By all means flee, but can we flee to whatever the hell Pocock is cooking up?
Edit: or…y’know…what the actual Liberal Party should be if they ditched their culture wars and media/mining links???
Problem is often unfulfilled expectations which politicians offer and then cannot deliver quickly or well.
Fundamentals like healthcare is pushed as a right and Labor Governments want to have free Universal health coverage, and delivery is now expensive and difficult.
Even on other basics like housing expectations are not for a small three bedroom 100 sq metre home with 1 bathroom any longer. The humble housing commission homes which served communities for decades are replaced by multi story units that are most unaffordable or very slow to deliver to a growing need. The expectation is that like 50 years ago it is a right to be able to build your dreams, which are more expansive than ever before.
Now it was my parents generation and my generation that told subsequent generations that they could have whatever they wanted and we are responsible for developing this lust for bigger and better.
NDIS is a great initiative but it has got out of hand, and the political mistake was to not have it totally under public service control.
Politics sometimes lacks a sense of actuality.
Agree, but I think itys like really only to divide the conservative side as it is now. The liberals have to chase these morons for votes , the centre is still a safe space for parties that want to be in power.
this whole nonsense the liberals are going on about with regards to the fuel crisis . complaining about government transparency and action . I’m seeing daily reports of how many fuel stations are out of fuel I’m hearing about updates every day about how many shipments are due and when , im seeing daily updates of how much of each fuel we have left , im hearing about expansion plans of our refineries , I’m hearing about changes to fuel requirements to try to boost supply , I’m seeing the PM in Singapore negotiating fuel supplies .
what the hell are they on about ?
Gen X are turning into boomers
I’d suggest that selfish, hateful rsoles of any generation are always simply waiting for their ideal platform/vehicle/body to gain legitimacy and volume. Nobody is becoming anything they weren’t already. If anything people in that next whipping generation who have always been progressive and community minded are enraged, dismayed and vindicated in their pessimism. What a rotten place we’ve arrived at, and how ■■■■■■■ predictable it all was.
Boomers started the offshoring and ordered the ai-fication of jobs. Gen X sees it through.
