Australian Policies -- 2026, and we have no Shadow Cabinet

It’s somewhat important in the scheme of things.

If the majority were previous LNP voters, then switching back won’t make much of a difference..

And what will the Vic Libs bring to Victoria that will help us, the people of Vic?

if liberal party state or federal does preference swap with openly racist and bigoted party , then they deserve to experience the joy of sharing government with them . the ensuing disaster will be 100 % on them and nobody else . it might send both parties into oblivion

I never said I do vote but I certainly hope the folk that do vote deliver the sweeping change Victoria needs. I now vote in QLD.

I thought you didn’t vote

I think the risk to Libs not winning next month is about the risk to where ON preference go isn’t it?

If ON didn’t exist I reckon the Libs win easily. What we don’t know is the true make up of the ON vote abd what that means for their preferences. That’s why I think it’s hard to know how this election plays out

you now have federal liberal trying to out do nation so you can’t say if they didn’t exist nonsense. they are doing another fine job of destroying themselves without one nation

Labor historically preference swaps with the antisemitic Greens party. They will do whatever is needed to win government.

What???

I voted in the last QLD poll.

they are not antiemetic for criticising the Israel government actions in Gaza

I know this is semantics, but if there is a change of government, it will be because Labor loses…it won’t be because the public see hope in The LNP / ON.

I agree. I think the Victorian government have been a hopeless government and have created a situation where I think even progressive voters quietly think it’s time for change.

Which is how governments generally change.

And why I am continually astounded by the actions of The LNP, both at State & Federal levels.

They seem to be unable to break away from their past policies…policies that were suited to 50, 60, 70+ years ago but that no longer stand up to scrutiny in the modern era (except with Australia’s heavily right wing aligned mainstream media outlets).

Yeah, the old “criticise Israel, you are anti-semantic” line.
Then the guilt trip one of “remember the Holocaust”.

Ho hum.

Actionable

And weak.

Get stuffed with repeating this sort of BS. Anyone with any ability to understand nuance knows that the government of Israel != Judaism. Labelling criticism of a governments actions as anti-Semitism is lazy, and gives a free pass to a government to avoid any criticism of their policies

Watching Angus tonight and it is interesting to see him basically saying ■■■■ off to 3 million people that live here.

That and prosecute an argument for wage growth. :skull:

If One Nation were only drawing support from ex coalition voters, they wouldn’t be polling as well as they are, especially in Victoria.
