Australian Policies -- 2026, and we have no Shadow Cabinet

the liberal party disintegration started when they bailed on net zero . I guarantee if you were able to look at a graph of polling that’s where it started. they opened the door for one nation and every time now they try to copy one nation policy they help legitimise rte stupidity of one nation cooked supporters and

I’m afraid you’re far too optimistic. As we’ve seen elsewhere, there is no introspection in these types of voters. They will not hold PHON to account no matter how disastrous their potential government proves to be. They will find an ā€œotherā€ to blame, as they always do.

PHON could turn Victoria into a Blade Runner-style oligarchy with hints of Romper stomper, but provided their voters have the social license to be mean to brown people and the gays, they will not care.

mate Australia will notice how much they cut the ā– ā– ā– ā–  out of the public service and start just cutting back on all the things we take for granted purely to feed Ginas greed and how cruel they will be to foreigners and the indigenous , health and education

they are absolute fucken scumbags that the liberals are trying to copy and beat. this will end up blowing back very badly on the liberals . Labor , the greens and independents need to stand firm against these ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  no matter how much it might look like they could lose ground

Are you saying that criticism of Israel does equate to anti-semitism?

Not just that…they also need to be highlighting the specific consequences of ON’s policies and voting track record.

I want you to be right, and I agree with the sentiment completely. What I lack is any faith in the critical thinking skills of your average ON supporter to make those judgements.

We’ve seen overseas the rise of similar parties, inspired by Trump, and what should have been their subsequent humiliation has instead seen them gain traction. Trump was re-elected despite a disastrous first time, Bolsonaro is about to do the same. Whatever merits their voters judge them on is clearly divorced from their performance in government.

like the liberals immigration policy . what an embarrassing joke this party has become. this notion of a net migration number is a word game fantasy . by the time they carve out what is needed in the real world their will be no change other than demonizing foreigners to appease Gina and Pauline

White’s rule dude, but I’m a tad reluctant to get a swastika tattoo…

Someone said to me the other day, ā€œIt wont be so bad if one nation gets in coz they won’t do what they say as all governments lie..ā€ sheesh.

The real question in Australian politics is how long before the Libs dump the incompetent and embarrassing Angus Taylor and install Andrew Hastie as their next leader.

I don’t know if you were talking about the same article, but.

The whole narrative:

ON: we tell it like it is. Aboriginal people are scamming the dole, trans people are bad, gays are bad, Immigrants are taking jobs and houses, climate change is a scam…

Cafe owner: we won’t serve you coffee because you are being pretty horrible to people like us and our friends.

ON: wow! You say you’re inclusive, but look, you just banned me because of my ā€˜political beliefs’, that’s not very diverse…

Or, we could put the farms where the workers are…just grow the produce in south east Asia. Send us the food, ā€˜problem’ solved.

How many submarines would that cost???

None.

You want China to have it all? We need to defend our economic partner, China, from our political enemy, China.

RUH ROH!

Love for a corporate duopoly largely responsible for unsustainable cost of living pressures, direct impact on inflation and therefore rising interest rates, who have been found to engage in deceptive practises is certainly a choice.

Care to outline why it’s ā€œcrazyā€?
