Point being, he was courageous enough to confront the issue which I always commended him for. And also the way he handled the death of his friend, Kimberley Kitching I think her name was.
No it wasnât. Thst wasnât the type of democracy we want in this country. Thst was antisemitism abd an ugly, unruly mob who embarrassed the country on the world stage. Elements of that mob shouldâve been charged and deported.
You must live in a parallel universe. There was no disgraceful protest.
Someone who intervened with an Israel flag ( which could be considered provocative in the circumstances) was arrested by the police for his own protection and taken away.
I disagree, sorry. It was a shocker and action against some of that mob shouldâve been taken. Thst it wasnât means that type of unruly stuff becomes accepted and gives rise to more advanced and more vicious attacks like we have witnessed overnight.
What action could be taken for a peaceful protest
BTW, are we allowed to be discussing this topic
It wasnât peaceful imo.
they shot rubber bullets into peaceful protest during covid lockdowns.
not that i agree with that
Rubber pellets in a non peaceful protest, in which police and journalists were injured, arrests in the hundreds
Not sure money laundering is driving much
I do think that only Australian residents should be able to own property, but there are ways around it.
Think that might be a tad racist

It was only a few years ago they did tighten the lending rules, only for people to screamâŚwait for itâŚthat it was negatively impacting property values and should be relaxed, so they did.
Also it actually makes it harder for people to buy their first property particularly.
But thatâs just the national broadcaster that isnât funded by interested parties. Are you mad to be listening to that?
Do what NZ have done.
In fact im sure the government here has looked very carefully at what they have done.
Basically pulled every lever to make housing more affordable.
I lived one hundred metres from that synagogue for around 4 years around 25 years ago. The synagogue attracts Eastern European ultra orthodox Jews. The place was always buzzing 24 hours a day and of course was particularly busy on Friday or Saturday. I doubt the bomber/s realised the Synagogue has limited or no links to Israel.
there are plenty of studies world wide that suggest immigration boosts demand in the economy , raises employment and increases GDP. of course you entitled to run coalition talking points like "theyâre taking our jerbs, "
the housing issue didnât start 12 to 18 months ago , itâs multi generational bubble thatâs always been there.
so what would people be facing if energy relief childcare relief ect had not been provided ? a slightly better inflation number ? perhaps slightly less than the halving the coalition inflation numbers they were left with?
like your ideas of problems of social cohesion has just started or somehow magically ânoticeably increasedâ in the last 12 to 18 months,
forgive me good sir, but you are speaking out of your rear passage
Foreign yet to be convicted criminal and head of a government criticises Australia.
The response should be to tell him to FOAD.
this is a conservative wet dream having him have a go at albo.
And he was correct
I tend to agree with this article. It is very frustrating.
