Haha. Sounds about right
Was that Bert Newton in the clip? Just after the half way mark. If not it was still a nice selection of A Listers. No diversity but that was accepted then.
Canavan thinks itâs a shame if Australians were to take a Frenchman at his word and not our own Prime Minister.
- good point, but maybe some people here have kept a ledger on our PM
- PM could always produce the advice and timing thereof to Macron.
An ethnic Chinese girl has tweeted a clip of her appearing in one of Bertâs shows , she reckoned the first time someone with an Asian appearance speaking with a broad Australian accent was featured and accepted as an Australian on TV.
Shouldâve just asked him about the PMs claim that Macron doesnât speak English.
Yep in 1972 just about every performers on TV appeared in ads for Gough.
I was at Ferstival Hall where Gough did his big election launch, and Bert Newton was sitting behind me with a swag of TV stars. He had a wig even back then and he took it off, tellin gall around him that he didnât need to wear a wig amongst his friends and comrades.
I had just turned 19 and only had eyes for Little Patti who was sitting in front of me. I think I noticed Gough speaking.
Get out of the house Porter you absolute Gronk
Born Patricia Amphlett, Little Pattie is the cousin of the late and great Chrissy Amphlett, of Divinyls fame.
She earned the nickname âLittle Pattieâ at school where she had two taller friends also called Patricia.
Roll-up, roll-up, we have winner in the race to be the biggest fool on the opposition benches, now that Dim Tim is moving along.
Perrottet appointed Michael Coutts-Trotter ( husband of Plibersek) to head up the Dept of Premier and Cabinet.
Sarah Cruikshank, formerly the Chief of Staff for Gladys , is now a Deputy Secretary in that Dept.
Reportedly she and Gladys go back to their twenties in the Liberal movement.
At todayâs ICAC , Cruikshankâs lawyer suggested to Gladys that she was not being honest in what she told Cruikshank about the status of her relationship with Daryl at the time
- not to Gladys recollection.
- taking her cue from our PMâs version of his talks with MacronâŚ
Coutts-Trotter formerly headed up the Justice Dept. The Counsel for the Commission asked Gladys today why she did not seek guidance from Justice about disclosure to ICAC of her relationship with Daryl .
Itâs interesting that so far, the NSW non-elected officials have come up with some of the most damning evidence.
Itâs called telling the truth.
So the PMs âfieryâ response to being called a liar boils down to âwell their things were no good anywayâ. Doesnât address the notion that heâs a liar, doesnât recognise the fact it was an LNP government, of which he was a minister, that signed the deal in the first place. All in all another exercise in obfuscation and bluster.
What an absolute empty shell
Macron isnât insulting us, heâs insulting you Morrison.
Donât use us as a shield for your own incompetence.
ââ
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has spent more than ten minutes responding to French President Emmanuel Macronâs comments.
The Prime Minister said he did not âseek to personalise the spatâ but then hit out saying he would not cop âsledgingâ and âslurs against Australiaâ.
ââ
Ummmm heâs not sledging Australia, heâs sledging you mate
He really is a POS loser.
Canât believe Corman ghosted him, eat â â â â scotty
One more push at COP26 and he might lose the facade for all to see.
Any comment from Dutton?
