if that garners enough sympathy to get liberals re-elected we as a country are beyond saving.

of course. Also I suspect people don’t report negative rat results.

ā€œBad day at the officeā€. :joy:

Cmon Dom, it’s a bit of a cumulation of things mate.

Things aren’t looking too good during your probationary period.

was kinda hoping trifect/daytrip the usual brigade would be on to tell us how endearing that interview was and how lucky we are to have a ukulele playing PM

I’m hoping Albamese plays the trombone so during the debate he could do the waah waaah every time Morrison finishes speaking.

But we all know there will be no debate.

Didn’t watch the farce that was the interview on 60 minutes because I loathe Morrison and Stefanovic. Now reading the comments I’m not too keen on Jenny now either.

We won’t see fast trains in Australia during my lifetime. So backward

Well Jenny seems delightful. If this was their grand play to win back women and swing voters then well done in digging the hole even deeper.

I may have thrown up in my mouth a little reading that travesty of an article. The gall of trying to re-write the history of the last 8 years, and cast Scott as victim.
Hypocrisy at it’s highest.

No we won’t.
It won’t get done until we have leaders with long term vision.

In the space of 20 years, China has built a whole network of fast trains.
In 5 years time, we’ll have our first major train infrastructure upgrade to our city outside of extending existing lines. That’s probably happened 10 years too late.

Before Covid there was a reliance on public transport for work commute. WFH capability could change that somewhat.

I’m not sure what the answer to the problem is. It needs long term planning. Not just 4 year look aheads.

The decision to run Geelong Vlines via Wyndham/Tarneit is one the the dumbest public policy failures the govt has been involved in. They should have looked at expanding the capacity on the Werribee line instead of shifting the problems to the western suburbs

Waiting for Melbourne Metro 2, which would do that that.

The happy clappers and blue-rinse set that go to church every Sunday will be right behind her.

Wonder if Scotty can answer the question finally.

Is it ā€˜snake eyes on a pair of dice’
Or
ā€˜Snake eyes on the paradise’?

Have only seen snippets and thought it was pretty disgusting IMO.
I didn’t expect much else though TBH as she is well and truly enshrined in the cultish behaviour of the kool aid sipping god botherers

As having worked in the rail industry for nearly 40 years you all need to forget about high speed rail…

we simply dont have the population for it…let alone the cost would make it that expensive the tickets would be well not competitive with getting on a plane…

and yes ive driven the XPt which is as close as high speed rail we will have and that only gets to 160 in some sections of track.

This isn’t a great look for independent candidates.

They weren’t welcoming her into their home - it was an official function involving a number of people; replete with the official photographers; Tame and partner were waylaid for a photo en route to the formal indoor afternoon tea.

  • and it wasn’t their home, they don’t live there, it’s treated by them as a crash pad when he can’t get home to Kirribilli.
