So Feds are going to declare a “National Emergency” for NSW so they can send in direct fed assistance.
Remember when Gladys said the NSW Delta Covid situation was a national emergency. This after she was declaring NSW green shoots and it got out of control.
Did he declare a national emergency for QLD or does NSW only count?

Apparently he’s arriving in flood affected areas this afternoon.
All the ABC reports are saying that the community are furious that they’ve had zero help, and it’s expected that the PM will not be getting a warm welcome.

Annastacia has snared General Ellwood to coordinate Qld flood recovery program.
The worst of the floods seems to be over in Queensland, now. It’s recovery, whereas NSW still in rescue mode along a huge stretch of the east coast, including major population centres.

It’s interesting, something about the States able to deal directly with the ADF instead of going through Dutton. In NSW, ADF did a presser on its own, no pollies present. Coalition politics at play?
