Scomo got back in last time by the thickness of a page of a Hillsong hymnbook
As of now, I am totally convinced that his governemnt has run its course.
We are overdue for a change .
However there is a possibility that the UAP will take quite a few seats in QLD, that being the case, if its a hung parliament, we might get the worst possible scenario. The erratic, sometimes idiotic set of twins Clive Palmer and Barnaby Joyce in an unholy alliance of the far right, with a troglodyte like Dutton as PM
OMG that spectre would frighten anyone to death.
The UAP isnât winning any seats.
Iâm the bigger cynic there is, but itâs over. Morrison has been found out and will lose comfortably. I cannot wait.
I wish I could be so confident in the judgement of my fellow Australians.
UAP is running about 3% in the polls. Remarkably bad performance for the amount of money they are spending. And I suspect a lot of that 3% is coming from the depleted One Nation vote and disaffected LNP cookers.
The UAP was able to succesfully funnel their votes into LNP preferences in the last election and Iâm sure Clive is thinking the same thing here. There are a small but vocal minority of voters that will ditch their previous allegiances and vote on the singular anti-vax issue. These voters from (historically) both sides will have their preferences conveniently funnelled to the LNP. Whilst 3% nationally isnât much, in the context of a marginal seat, there is some serious damage that can be done by these cookers.
Never underestimate how stupid the Australian electorate is.
On a tee shirt
I think it is more that the system is being gamed by the right-wing to take the votes and give them to where the person voting isnât expecting. The vast majority of Aussies have no idea how the system works and how convoluted it can get. Not so much stupid as uneducated, and that is generally deliberately done by the politicians.
I reckon itâs far from impossible that the UAP will win a senate seat, maybe in Qld. Theyâd get pretty much all One Nationâs preferences youâd think, and a fair few LNP voters will preference Clive over them evil lefties. A lower house seat would be a pretty big ask though.
UAP people (or at least UAP-funded people) were out in force when i got off the train at Parliament station yesterday. Going on about âthings youâre not allowed to say any moreâ. Bleh.
Reading the article, thereâs no way for this change to actually happen before the election.
Always love these complete fking idiots who freely and publicly spout âall the things theyâre not allowed to sayâ while lacking the ability to comprehend that theyâre instantly proving themselves wrong by saying the things that theyâre saying without anybody stopping them.
Itâs not that people are not allowing you to say what you want to say, itâs just that people think youâre a complete fking idiot for saying it. Because you are a complete fking idiot.
seeing the photos/vids of zelensky interacting with the people of liberated ukrainian cities/towns. it shows how much symbolic value there is in a leader not abandoning their country.
scomo â â â â â â â off to hawaii just burns all the more.
vote better Australians
I am a bit lid on.
I think its going to be very close. I cant imagine what another term of Scott and his mates would be like. I might declare the independent nation of Dubbo if this is the case.
Albo and his crew are a bit like EFC, you could get Essendon show up, or Essington. Who would know. So far they are 6 goals up at half time. A long way to go yet.
Libs are definitely Farkcarlton in my mind.
Stinky, stinky âŚ

There was not enough space so only included colleagues who think he is a lying turd
